Competition Rules

Entries/stories will be anonymised once they have gone through the administration process, then they will be read by members of the FFF editorial team, then potential long list entries will be sent to our judge, who will then prepare a shortlist and then pick one winner.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
Entrants must be 16 years or over.
Entries must be in English.
There is no limit to the number of entries an entrant may make but multiple entries must be submitted separately.
The competition is open to writers worldwide but stories must be written in English. Entry is open to everyone; locally, nationally and internationally.
An entry can only be made by the work's individual author.
Entries must be fiction but can be on any subject, and written in any style or form.
New and previously unpublished stories only please.
Please check your email address carefully before submitting your entry!
Do not use of copyrighted material, song lyrics etc.
Maximum word count is 300 (excluding title) minimum 100. Do not get disqualified!
Please copy and paste your work in the copy box.
Please include a word count on the story document.
All prize money will be awarded in £GBP via Bank Transfer or PayPal.
Entries will only be accepted in the following formats: Microsoft Word Document (.doc or .docx), OpenDocument Text (.odt), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and Text Document (.txt).
Worldwide copyright of each entry remains with the author.
